How to join the Lab

The Environmental Systems Lab is an interdisciplinary group of highly motivated graduate and undergraduate students from Architecture, Planning, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, and Civil and Environmental Engineering. As part of the lab, you would work on research projects related to computational design and sustainability in the built environment. These projects are presented at leading international conferences and published in leading journals. In addition, research outcomes such as software tools released by the lab also usually have a significant impact on education and practice and are used at leading universities and practices worldwide.

Highly motivated students with a strong interest in sustainability in the built environment and good foundational knowledge in environmental systems and computational design are encouraged to reach out to the director Timur Dogan.
